What can affect your quote?
- Floor area and storeysThe published bands step up with size; a double-storey house takes longer to bring down and produces more material.
- Construction typeFibro and weatherboard come down faster than brick veneer, and full brick or concrete takes the longest to sort and remove.
- AsbestosBonded asbestos removal is quoted from the assessment. Friable asbestos is removed by our Class A licensed partner.
- Access and machineryNarrow frontages, battle-axe blocks and steep sites limit the machine we can bring in, which changes the time on site.
- Pools, slabs and retaining wallsStructures beyond the house are priced as their own items so you can see what each one adds.
- Council, certifier and utility feesApproval and disconnection fees are set by others. They are itemised separately in your written quote.

How a job runs
From assessment to a cleared block
Site assessment and quote
We look at the house, the access and any suspected asbestos, then send a written quote with the inclusions listed.
Approvals and disconnections
We prepare and lodge the DA or CDC and coordinate utility disconnections, with responsibilities and external fees set out in your quote.
Asbestos removal and demolition
Identified bonded asbestos is removed under our Class B licence, then the house comes down with dust management and neighbour protection, usually in three to five working days on site.
Recycling and handover
Concrete, timber and metals go to licensed recycling, over 85% of materials, and the block is left as agreed, with the disposal and clearance documents your builder needs.

All demolition FAQsDo I need council approval to demolish my house?
Yes. A full house knockdown needs either a Development Application (DA) through the council or, where the property and the proposal qualify, a Complying Development Certificate (CDC) from the council or a registered certifier. We prepare and lodge the application within the agreed scope; your quote sets out the responsibilities and any external fees.

Our published bands run from $15,000 – $22,000 for a small fibro or weatherboard house to $38,000 – $45,000 or more for a very large or complex one. Floor area, construction type, asbestos and access decide the band; the written price follows a free site assessment.

Start with the property address and the work you need done. If you have plans, site photos or an asbestos report, share those too. Tell us about pools, sheds, access restrictions and your proposed building schedule so we can confirm the scope.

Yes. We coordinate electricity, gas, water and telecommunications arrangements with the providers and authorised trades, who carry out the disconnection or protection work. Disconnections are confirmed before demolition starts, and any external charges are itemised in your quote.

Our Class B asbestos removal licence AD211249 covers bonded (non-friable) asbestos. Suspected materials are assessed to establish their type and condition. Friable asbestos is removed by our Class A licensed partner.
