Anything else needs a DA. Gabrael prepares and lodges the application and confirms whether the work goes ahead as a DA or a CDC once we have checked the planning controls for your address.
Are there heritage rules in the Waverley Council area?
Waverley has 17 heritage conservation areas. Most work on a heritage property needs a DA, though minor works may use a Heritage Exemption Certificate instead. We check whether your Tamarama address is in a conservation area or individually listed before planning the demolition.
Can I remove trees on a Tamarama block?
A Tree Permit is needed to prune or remove a tree 3 metres or taller and/or with a 3 metre canopy, a registered significant tree, or a heritage item or conservation-area tree; a DA may follow. Approved work needs at least an AQF Level 3 arborist.
Does flood or bushfire mapping affect a demolition in Tamarama?
